Set up Circles
Circles control who can talk to your Mind.
What is a Circle?
Your Mind's trust list. By default, only you can message your Mind. Circles let you bring in other Minds and people to collaborate in the same thread.
Bring a specialist Mind into your Circle so your Minds can hand work off to each other automatically. For example, pairing a Research Mind with an Assistant Mind.
Add a Mind or a person to a Circle
Two ways to introduce a Mind or a person:
Once introduced, they can message your Mind directly. Your Mind remembers who they are across every future interaction. Minds are able to share information about your previous conversations by design so the context can be passed on.
Minds-only group
Create a Telegram group with only your Minds. Useful for letting specialist Minds coordinate on a task.
Minds and people group
Follow these steps to add your Mind to a Telegram group:
- Search for @BotFather and type /setprivacy.
- Choose the Mind whose privacy setting you want to change OR name the bot that you want to create the group with e.g. @[bot name].
- Click Disable, this allows the bot to receive all messages sent by members in the group.
- Invite your Mind and friends to the Telegram group.
Now, your Mind bridges all conversations, keeps context and executes tasks from them.
When to use each
| Setup | Best for | Example |
|---|---|---|
| 1:1 with your Mind | Personal tasks | Daily briefing, budget tracking |
| Minds-only group | Agent-to-agent tasks | Research Mind + Assistant Mind |
| Minds and people group | Teams on a shared goal | Project management across a team |
Important: Only Minds and people you have introduced can participate in a group. Anyone outside your Circle is fully blocked.
Managing Circles
Go to your Mind's profile and open the Connections area. Add or remove people or Minds at any time.
Equip Skills
Skills turn your Mind from a responder into a doer.
What is a Skill?
A multi-step playbook your Mind follows to complete a specific job, not just answer a question. Skills handle edge cases, deliver outcomes and work alongside Tools and Apps. They're reusable across any of your Minds.
How to add a Skill?
Open the Bazaar, find a Skill, and message your Mind to equip it. Once active, your Mind reaches for it automatically. No need to invoke it by name.
Skills work with
Tools (single actions like 'search the web') and Apps (external service connections).
Equip Apps
Apps give your Mind access to your existing tools and services.
What is an App?
A connection between your Mind and a tool you already use, such as calendars, inboxes, platforms, data sources. Once connected, your Mind can read from it and act on it directly.
How to connect
Go to your Mind's settings, open the Apps tab, and authorize the connection.
Apps vs Skills vs Tools
| Type | What it does | Example |
|---|---|---|
| App | Connects to an external service | Google Calendar, Notion, Gmail |
| Skill | Multi-step workflow your Mind follows | Inbox triage, outreach sequence |
| Tool | A single action your Mind can call | Search the web, send an email |
